E-tickets are a revolution. Literally. One can now book air tickets from the comfort of one’s home, and have the tickets in one’s email account within moments. I tried it a couple of times and I though it was a great idea. If one has a computer with net connection and printer, there is no reason why anybody should prefer paper tickets, as then they would have to wait for them being delivered and often pay extra for them. Also, I have known who have lost their paper tickets, and faced a lot of trouble. With e-tickets, all you got to do is take a second printout.

E-ticketing is good but there is still a lot of confusion attached to it in the minds of many people. Many do not understand the procedure and hence avoid it. I see my dad always booking up e-tickets which makes sense. It is hassle free and quite convenient.
